Welcome to Amp Intelligence ("we", "us", or "our"). We operate the platform accessible at tryamp.in (the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Platform.

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Platform.

We may collect the following types of information:

• Personal identification information: name, email address, phone number, age, and gender provided during registration or application.
• Video footage: clips you upload for analysis purposes.
• Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the Platform.
• Payment information: processed securely through third-party payment processors; we do not store card details.
• Feedback and communications: responses to surveys, feedback forms, and support communications.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Platform and its features.
• Analyse video footage to generate biomechanical coaching reports and player card ratings.
• Send administrative communications including pilot access details, product updates, and confirmations.
• Respond to enquiries and provide customer support.
• Conduct research and analytics to improve coaching accuracy and product quality.
• Comply with legal obligations.

Video clips you upload are used solely for the purpose of generating your coaching report. We may use anonymised and aggregated footage data to improve our AI models and biomechanical scoring accuracy. We will not use identifiable footage for marketing or promotional purposes without your explicit consent.

If you have provided consent for promotional use of your clips during the application process, we may use such footage in marketing materials. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us at ranabeer@tryamp.in.

Amp’s coaching reports, chat answers, and Game IQ feedback are generated using large language models operated by third parties. We do not run these models ourselves, which means some of the information you give us is transmitted to those providers for processing.

Who we send it to. Anthropic PBC (the Claude models) processes every request by default. OpenAI, L.L.C. (the GPT models) is used only as an automatic failover when Anthropic is unavailable, so that report generation and chat keep working during an outage.

What we send. Only the material needed to answer the request in front of us:

• Still frames extracted from the video clips you upload. These are images of you and may show your face, body, and surroundings. The original video file itself is never sent to an AI provider.
• Pose and biomechanical measurements derived from those frames on our own servers.
• Profile context relevant to the analysis, such as your sport, age group, handedness, and playing position.
• The text of the messages you write in Ask amp, the wellness chat, and Game IQ.

What we do not send. We do not transmit your email address, phone number, payment details, or account credentials to any AI provider.

How it is protected. Both providers process this data under their commercial API terms, which prohibit using customer inputs and outputs to train their models and provide for limited retention for abuse monitoring only. We consider these protections equivalent to those set out in this Policy, and we do not permit either provider to use your data for any purpose beyond returning a response to us.

Your permission. In the amp mobile app we ask for your explicit consent before any of your data is sent to these providers, and you can withdraw that consent at any time from the Profile tab. Withdrawing consent disables the features that depend on AI analysis — video reports, Ask amp, the wellness chat, and Game IQ — but leaves the rest of your account intact.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

• With service providers who assist in operating the Platform (e.g., cloud storage, email delivery, payment processing), bound by confidentiality obligations.
• With the third-party AI providers named in Section 5, strictly to generate the analysis and answers you request.
• With advisors and consultants involved in validating the Platform's biomechanical accuracy, on a need-to-know basis and under non-disclosure agreements.
• If required by law, regulation, or legal process.
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate confidentiality protections in place.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Platform and fulfil the purposes outlined in this Policy. Video footage is retained for the duration of your pilot or subscription period and deleted upon request or account closure.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing ranabeer@tryamp.in. We will action such requests within 30 days.

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. These include encrypted storage, access controls, and secure transmission protocols.

However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage you to use strong passwords and protect your account credentials.

The Platform is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

For users aged 13–18, we recommend parental or guardian oversight when using the Platform.

Amp Intelligence operates primarily from India and serves users globally including in the United Kingdom, Australia, Malaysia, and other countries. If you are accessing the Platform from outside India, your information may be transferred to and processed in India.

For users in the United Kingdom and European Economic Area, we process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation including the UK GDPR. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. Please contact us to exercise these rights.

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience on the Platform. These include session cookies (which expire when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which remain on your device).

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some features of the Platform.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Policy on the Platform and updating the effective date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
