Not for power — the ball has gone. amp weights the batting follow-through at just 5 points of 100 and treats it as diagnostic: how you absorb force and whether you finish balanced tells you what happened earlier in the action. A collapse at the finish usually points at a fault in the sequence, not at the finish itself. Two criteria.
What each band looks like
Force Absorption Through the Follow Through
3 of 100 · filmed side-on
Looks right
Arms bending after contact, momentum absorbed into a stable body, controlled deceleration.
Can manage
A partial or checked follow through with no loss of control.
Needs attention
No absorption. The bat's momentum carries the body, dragging the player off balance.
Balance and Head Stability at Completion
2 of 100 · filmed side or front-on
Looks right
Balanced finish, head stayed down through contact and follow through.
Can manage
Some wobble or slight early head movement.
Needs attention
Clearly falling over, or head lifting well before contact.
These are the criteria as amp scores them. Reading your own footage against them is free and always will be — what amp adds is doing it the same way every week, so the change between one session and the next is a number rather than an impression. Apply for the pilot.
